Download chat history
The Scenario Dialogs module allows you to upload chat history from Telegram and WhatsApp, so you can continue conversations with clients in a single window while preserving previous correspondence.
For users who do not yet have chats in the current Project, the “Go to Upload” button will be available directly from the dialog list.
Click the “Go to Upload” button.
If no lines are configured for the active Project, the system will display a notification. In this case, you need to configure the channels.
If you already have chats in Dialogs and need to upload conversation history with a client, click “Settings” in the left-hand menu, then go to the “Dialog Upload” section.
The “Dialog Upload” form contains the following tabs:
• Messengers – configure imports for WhatsApp and Telegram, select the time period, and choose connected accounts.
• In Progress – a list of all active imports. Here you can stop or cancel an upload.
• History – a list of completed imports: successful, failed, or with no new messages. The “Restart” button is available for failed imports.
1. In the “Messengers” tab, select the channels with the dialogs you want to upload.
2. Next, select the upload period. The following options are available:
• Last week
• Last month
• Last 3 months
• Last year
• Custom period – a custom date range
When selecting “Custom period,” you can choose any date range within the last year.
3. Click the “Upload” button to start the import.
Import process
Once started, the upload appears in the “In Progress” tab. This section displays the number of active uploads and their statuses.
Available statuses:
• Queued
• Uploading
An active import can be canceled by clicking the “Cancel” button. If the import is already in the “Uploading” status, a confirmation window will appear.
Import history
After completion, the upload is moved to the “History” tab. This section shows the number of completed uploads and their statuses.
If an import fails, you can retry it by clicking the “Restart” button.
Importing messages inside a chat
Each private chat includes a “Load More” button.
When clicked, up to 50 previous messages are loaded. The loading process is indicated by a progress indicator displayed on the button.
Clicking the successful upload notification navigates you to the last loaded message.
If there are no new messages available, the user will receive the notification: “No new messages available for upload.”
